We began 2024 playing a house birthday party in February near Lansing, we played 5 hours, the crowd loved jazz and they were wonderful.
We next played three times in September of 2024, we played at a Roaring 20’s Great Gatsby party in Clarkston, everyone was dressed up in 20’s attire, it was great fun and we got to eat with everyone else. All of our jazz songs were from the era of 1920’s and 1930’s.
We then played at two senior centers one in Rochester and one in Westland. At both places we played an October fest program with a mix of polkas
and waltz’s. Jerry who played sax on both gigs, sang several songs to the seniors who listened to our musical performances.
In December of 2024 we ended up the year by playing at a holiday house party, the owner made us feel like we were one of the quests at the party. It was a great time and two of our band members knew a few people at the party.
