On Thursday, August 7th the Big Band Express Mini Big Band played at the Branch County Fair in Coldwater, Michigan<\/strong><\/p>\n where we did a Senior’s Concert and Luncheon in the Dearth Center on the Fairgrounds. <\/p>\n [\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n [\/vc_column_text][vc_gallery interval=”5″ images=”3689,3704,3700,3690″ img_size=”full” onclick=”img_link_large”][vc_column_text][\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n <\/p>\n [\/vc_column_text][vc_gallery type=”image_grid” images=”3701,3703,3702″ img_size=”full” title=”Jewish Senior Residence”][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n [\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n [\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n “The Big Band Express played in late October at Cambrian Senior Living which is\u00a0an assisted living facility in South Lyon.\u00a0 This was in\u00a0honor of Howard Holmes who was an original band member. Howard loved the concert.”\u00a0 In this picture Howard is holding Dick Cywinski’s sax and is standing next to him. Howard always sat next to Cy. The band sounded great and brought tears to Howard’s eyes. <\/div>\n”In November the Big Band Express Nine Piece Band played at the Ypsilanti Fire House Museum for their 25th anniversary fundraiser gala.
“We really enjoyed the Big Band Express Orchestra playing at our 25th anniversary gala celebration.<\/h5>\nTheir musical sound was the perfect entertainment for our old-fashioned Firemen’s Ball”.<\/h5>\n

We also played at a Grand Opening of the updated Hechtman Apartments at the Jewish Senior Life of Michigan.\u00a0 The crowd loved the music and there was plenty of dancing and celebration.<\/h5>\n
Residents, staff, and management have all been raving about how fantastic the grand opening was. Since last night, I\u2019ve heard many compliments on the music in particular. Please pass along my thanks to the rest of the band.<\/h5>\n<\/div>\n

He was beloved by all who knew him. His love of music, especially big band music was always an important part of his life.
<\/span>He had many dear friends based in that love of music.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
