THE BIG BAND EXPRESS has enjoyed a long and rich history in performing big band music in the state of Michigan and surrounding areas. . We are a 17 piece band of professional musicians dedicated to the faithful performance of music in the tradition of the likes of Glenn Miller, Duke Ellington, Woody Herman, Harry James, Count Basie, Billy May, Tommy and Jimmy Dorsey, Henry Mancini, Les Brown, Les & Larry Elgart and other big band greats. Many arrangements are enhanced by our vocalist who specializes in the big band era.
